Concluding thread from Part 1
… The draft of the new crazy theory is finished. It seems to fit well with our everyday experiences. The question is whether it’s “crazy enough” to explain all five categories of phenomena, especially those within the depths of physics. It’s ready for the verification. That is, the examination to determine whether the new hypothesis’ logic is more capable of explaining the different types of phenomena than the old one.
With the new theory, the tools we have to construct explanations with are living consciousness and intelligence, idea-based causes, attraction toward joy, and conscious intent.
Verification I and II
Elementary physical phenomena / Other features in physics
Since this is a brand new way of thinking, we’ll start with basics. The reality we see and measure presents us with two distinctive features. One is the readily visible creatures and formations we see and regard as typical. The other is the atoms all this is made of. The creatures and formations fit well as expressions of Intended Creation, part one of the master idea. The atoms fit well as limited possibilities for realization, part two of the master idea. (Without understanding New Logic, the optimal REALITY became spread out – we’re presently living in the outspread, limited Reality.)
There happens to be a situation few laymen are aware of. No experiment in physics has ever confirmed the atom is material in the sense of “thing“. More importantly, what experiments have shown is that atoms are small stable entities regulated by a set of forces.
The idea-based understanding states forces occur only in connection with ideas. According to Governing Force, there is one fundamental force, namely the attraction toward joy. The more joy an idea facilitates, the greater its force of attraction.
This information obviously becomes important when creating idea-based explanations of the relationship between ideas and forces. It is tempting to turn it into a tool more suitable for eliciting details.
The idea-based explanatory model:
Any idea that increases or decreases joy is accompanied by a force. The strength of the force is identical to the amount of joy. Its direction is determined by whether the amount of joy increases or decreases.
Getting back to the properties of the atom. Atoms are the second part of the Master Idea.
The particles in the atom are the ideas involved in defining the limited ability to realize Intended Creation.
The forces in the atom are the attraction toward the joy the ideas in the atom facilitate.
Under the material paradigm, although the particles and forces are precisely measured and described, we’ve never understood them. We couldn’t answer why they exist or why they have the properties they have. They were to be accepted as phenomena without rational origins, that is to say, miracles. With the idea-based paradigm, we can understand them and answer these kinds of questions.
One of the many peculiar characteristics of the atom is the pairs of exactly equal forces and counterforces between the particles. All particles are pulled towards each other, but don’t collide; they’re held in place at a certain distance by forces equally strong but pulling in the opposite direction. The logical tools of the material understanding provide no answers to this strange phenomenon. Forces and their equally strong counterforces appear out of nowhere as examples of new miracles. With idea-based understanding, these also have a rational explanation.
Atoms are not collections of separate particles spewed out in all directions during the Big Bang, which then happen to find each other and amazingly become stable masses due to miraculously convenient forces and counterforces. They’re the second part of the master idea in the limited Reality; atoms are a collection of elementary ideas which together form a meaningful statement.
The balanced pairs of counterforces: The atom is a statement made of elementary ideas that together define a fixed concept and is therefore accompanied by forces in static balance.
A simple example of a statement could look like this: Here’s a big caramel, you can’t have it. There, the idea that provides the attraction toward joy and the idea that stops the possibility of having that joy are clear enough. So, too, is the balance between the two ideas and the result of that balance; there’ll be no caramel for you this time.
A more intricate, but at the same time more correct explanation of the exact statement in the atom could look like this: 1) The limited Reality is built upon the ultimate REALITY and both realities are present simultaneously. 2): When the ideas that provide the possibility of joy and the ideas that nullify that possibility are present simultaneously, the forces toward and away from joy will be present simultaneously and constitute a static balance.
According to physics, all the particles and forces we find in the physical universe were present at the Big Bang. In idea-based understanding, this means all the ideas that were present when the limited Reality was formed from the ultimate REALITY are present in our universe. Also those that defined unlimited realization.
Let’s look briefly at one atom, for simplicity’s sake the 2H atom, (the hydrogen isotope deuterium) Figure 3. Outermost is the electron in its sphere, within the nucleus is the neutron and proton with their quarks, these elementary ideas that only exist within the atom in 2 different and strangely complementary types; the up-quark (U) and the down-quark (D).
With the idea-based understanding, the 2H atom becomes a sentence composed of two clauses: the neutron and the proton. Each of these clauses is in turn composed of a triplet of elementary concepts, the quarks. Earlier, we found out which concepts define the possibilities of realization. There are only two of them too, and they’re also complementary; the idea of receiving and the idea of taking an active part. It’s tempting to interpret this as being as simple and straightforward as it seems. The up-quark (U) is the idea of the active principle (A) and the down-quark (D) is the idea of the receptive principle (R).
The neutron and proton type of clauses found freely in nature are characterized by a distinctive feature. Each of them contains one of each of the complementary ideas (A) and (R) plus one more of one or the other, forming a triplet. What kind of grammatical acrobatics is this?
The principle for the construction of ideas
Every idea is dependent upon its opposite (complementary idea) for its definition and therefore occurs together with its complementary idea.
When we normally simply say receiving (R), according to the principle, we’re actually saying, “Of the two complementary ideas termed receptive (R) and active (A), I’m now specifically referring to the receptive (R)”. So R and A to define both ideas, plus one more R or A to show which of the ideas is now in use; a triplet consisting of either RAR or RAA. The neutron, with its RAR triplet, constitutes the ideas that define unlimited realization. The proton, with its RAA triplet constitutes the ideas that define limited realization.
Because all the ideas that were present when the limited Reality was formed from the ultimate REALITY are still present in our universe, we can take this one step further. “The limited Master Idea is formed from the ultimate MASTER IDEA by adding a supplement.” The ultimate, or sublime MASTER IDEA, MISBL (SBL for sublime), consists of Intended Creation plus the ideas that trigger unlimited realization, (the idea of receiving the goal of joy; RAR). The limited Master Idea, MILIM (LIM for limited), also contains this. But in the second part of the Master Idea, to the original RAR (now the neutron), the supplemental idea RAA has been added (now the proton). The idea RAA is the idea that, to realize a goal, activity is necessary. The result is a severely limited ability to realize Intended Creation.
It’s reasonable to assume the supplement was created through practicing the idea active without understanding this would have very undesirable consequences in an idea-based reality: the Big Bang and a limited Reality, where the goal is beyond immediate reach. In other words, the addition is made in a situation similar to the one we have today. We think the world is material, add all manner of activity and sacrifice to reach our goal of more joy and end up with a significant increase in material living standards, but much less happiness and meaning (compared to the joy experienced in Experiment 1 and 2).
We can now depict the connection between the sublime MASTER IDEA (MISBL) and the limited Master Idea (MILIM). Here we can see both systems and, with the advent of the supplement, the origin of the atom.
Now for the electron. First, look at the whole atom and, for the sake of simplicity, the 2H atom, a variant of the least complex element, Hydrogen.
The 2H atom is the name given to the bundle of elementary ideas (and associated forces) that together define limited realization of Intended Creation.
The contribution of each atom is the one exceedingly small package of limited ability to realize Intended Creation that can be added to another and a third and so on to a multitude of atoms. The means by which this comes about is the electron. The electron, at the same time, differs from the nuclear particles in that it isn’t local. That is, it isn’t located in a specific spot, but is spread around the nucleus. This gives us an idea of what the electron represents.
The electron: With idea-based understanding, the electron represents the consequences of the elemental ideas in the atom (in the form of the ability to join with other atoms and thus realize Intended Creation).
The nuclear forces in the atom, strong and weak, accompany the particles/ideas. Now it’s possible to expand our understanding of them as well. The forces originate in the concepts that, when put together, form the ideas significant for the realization of Intended Creation, and thus for the possibilities of joy. Even in the atom, though its ability to realize sublime JOY is very limited, the attraction toward sublime JOY is present.
Strong nuclear forces appear where concepts combine to form ideas that facilitate or inhibit the possibility of sublime CREATION (and sublime JOY). (See Experiment 2).
Therefore, because they define the possibilities of realizing sublime CREATION, and thereby sublime JOY, strong nuclear forces arise in connection with the neutron and proton. More specifically, in connection with the quarks and the ideas of activity (A) and receptivity (R), the ideas that determine the realization of joy.
Weak nuclear forces appear where concepts combine to form ideas that facilitate or inhibit the possibility of limited Creation (and limited Joy).
Therefore, because they define the possibilities for limited Creation and thereby limited Joy, the weak nuclear forces arise in connection with the atom as a whole and are expressed through the electron’s affinity to other atoms; the ability to bind several atoms together, thereby contributing to the realization of Intended Creation but in a reduced version.
We’re now able to take this understanding of the 2H atom and expand it to the series of elements. According to physics, the formation of the constellations we know as neutron, proton, the atom, and the series of elements is due to the forces that accompany the elementary particles. In idea-based understanding, forces are the attraction toward joy. Therefore, elemental ideas form these constellations because they are necessary steps on the path toward the realization of joy. The series of elements, including their isotopes, is assembled because this provides so many more opportunities to realize limited Creation.
Now we can use idea-based understanding to explain other key concepts in physics.
Mass: Mass is the ability to realize Intended Creation that is not in use.
Energy: Energy is the ability to realize Intended Creation that is in use.
With the transition from a matter-based to an idea-based paradigm, a new world emerges. Where previously we saw a lifeless and meaningless world, we now see life and purpose. Where we had accurate descriptions of phenomena alone, we still have these descriptions, but also understanding. And, decisive for being on safe scientific ground, where there used to be miracles, paradoxes, and phenomena we accepted without demanding rational causes, we now have explanations and rationality.
Mass and energy are the main focus of physics. Now that they’re in place, gravity comes knocking; the accurately described, but miraculous attraction between separate bodies.
Gravity/Gravitational force: Since all entities of limited ability to realize Intended Creation (atoms) have mass, and the prerequisite for joy maximization in limited Creation lies in being able to put together a number of such entities, all entities with mass are accompanied by a force that attracts other entities with mass.
Idea-based explanations of three other oddities in physics should also be included. The first of these is the conversion of mass into energy, and vice versa. Something that was once regarded as impossible in a material world, but which we’ve been forced to accept without rational explanation.
E = mc2: In idea-based understanding, mass and energy share the same basis. “Mass is the ability to realize Intended Creation that is not in use.” “Energy is the ability to realize Intended Creation that is in use.” When the ability to realize Intended Creation is their common basis, the conversion of mass to energy and energy to mass becomes readily explainable.
Quanta are a central property of what we call matter. Today, no one knows why energy is exchanged only in measured quanta or packets, we’ve just learned to accept it. With the new idea-based understanding, we can explain it.
Quantum theory: “Energy is the ability to realize Intended Creation that is in use.” In limited Creation, quantification will be a characteristic trait of all energy because the ability to realize Intended Creation is available only in limited amounts, “quantum”.
This brings us to relativity, the characteristic of reality that all laws of physics apply regardless of vantage point. Science has confirmed the phenomenon of relativity, yet its consequences are paradoxical. If, for example, a horizontal flagpole is traveling fast enough, it will fit inside a stationary mailbox.
The Theory of Relativity: In limited Reality (our physical universe), matter, time, space, and the laws of physics are not absolutes, but properties defined by the master idea. Every individual and every entity of consciousness and intelligence therefore becomes the center of its own idea-based reality. Matter, time, space, and all physical laws are therefore spread anew for each individual and entity. We get myriads of versions of the shared universe where all laws are perfectly obeyed.
This is important in Experiments 1 (set-up here) and Experiment 2 (set-up here), each of which tests the effects of a temporary change in the private version of the shared reality. But also in Experiment 0, the daily life lived by each of us.
Matter, time, and space are pliable. The master idea being practiced dictates the version of reality each of us experiences.
One purely technical consequence is we live in a universe where large parts of Intended Creation are locked in mass and the remaining that’s not locked up is separated in time and space.
A practical and emotional consequence is a life characterized by very little joy in addition to having to gather the necessities of life that are scattered in time and space.
Another consequence: The forces in action when realizing Intended Creation are the attraction toward joy and cannot be measured by physics’ measuring instruments. They are evidenced only by the resulting design.
This explains why we’ve gotten stuck in the material understanding. The “sensor” in all types of physical measuring instruments is comprised of the atoms in the instrument. That which is measured are the changes wrought upon the atoms in the measuring instrument by the atoms being measured. The limited Reality is built upon a Master Idea comprised of two parts. 1) Intended Creation, and 2) the ability to realize Intended Creation. The atom is the second part, the ability to realize Intended Creation. Therefore, these objective measuring instruments cannot measure any of Intended Creation or any part of the sublime REALITY. They can only measure the second part of the limited Master Idea that has triggered the limited Reality. Even in this second part, they can only measure quantitatively; they can register none of the qualities, such as idea content or joy. Consequently, physical measuring instruments will inevitably miss consciousness, intelligence, ideas, joy, plans, and causes, overlooking most of reality and most of what is significant in our lives.
Verification III
Complicated design
One thing in common for all attempts to explain complicated design using material logic is that the explanations must be built on coincidences. The more complicated the design, the more the explanation must fly in the face of statistical improbability. With idea-based logic, contortions like these are unnecessary.
The first living cell, species, and ecological systems: We can regard “the machine-like” living organism, the physical and physiological design, as an opportunity to get important details of the new understanding in place. With Idea-based understanding, the formation of the first living cell, of species, and of all manner of creatures are a natural consequence of Intended Creation. Here in the limited Reality, this takes place by assembling the limited ability to realize Intended Creation (atoms) one by one. Implementation is intelligent and joy-maximizing. Communication and coordination takes place unimpeded in the infinite CONSCIOUSNESS. The result is the physical design of the cell, the individual species and its niche, or the ecological system of species and niches. In short, joy is forces, the greatest netto-forces direct creation toward maximizing joy.
Male and female, ♂ and ♀: In biology, we find two particularly elegant masterpieces of design, male and female. The happiness they can create together is already something most find more than slightly interesting. Viewed from an idea-based perspective, they become even more so. The idea-based model of the atom can now be depicted thus:
The complementary characteristics we call the masculine (♂) and feminine (♀) display a striking resemblance to the attitudes active and receptive. When united in sexual reproduction, he and she have the ability to realize copies of themselves. And while they’re at it, a great deal of joy is unleashed, which is characteristic when we practice creation in accordance with idea-based logic.
The mutual attraction between she and he: The reason for the attraction between ♀ and ♂ lies in their mutual dependence to reach sublime JOY. ♀ contributes with unlimited ability to realize Intended Creation and joy in the sublime format, but under certain preconditions; peace and the absence of interference. Safeguarding these preconditions is an integral part of the contribution made by ♂.
Clearly, it doesn’t matter whether ♂ and ♀ show up together in the atom or on a boardwalk, the attraction is literally in the air. The qualities of the atomic forces can be read from the sexual attraction we experience here in our world of flesh and blood. The forces within the atom are forces of attraction, the same type as we experience as sexual attraction.
From here, it’s easy to explain the unparalleled status of sexual euphoria: Experiencing Intended Creation through the act of receiving completely surpasses experiencing Intended Creation through activity (gathering or producing). In every way imaginable, the joy is so very much greater. (Confirmed by Experiment 2)
Verification IV
Ordinary idea-based phenomena
Attempts to explain spirit/life or idea-based phenomena as by-products of matter and material processes have in common the need to explain them on the basis of inanimate material parts. The question then becomes the following: When does life arise from lifeless parts? Is it when two lifeless parts are put together? Is it when one million inanimate parts are assembled together? 100 billion? Whatever number we multiply by zero, the end result is still zero. The logic of the material explanation of spirit/life is nowhere to be found and has been replaced by acceptance. With idea-based logic, these things become easier to explain.
The spirit/matter paradox: Matter, in the sense of thing, does not exist. Everything is shaped by ideas. The entire universe, the atom and everything made up of atoms, is a product of thought. The old paradox is solved.
Consciousness, intelligence, ideas, feelings, and memory: In the new understanding, the formation of consciousness, intelligence, ideas and feelings no longer have the rabbit-out-of-the-hat origin they had with the material understanding. The first two, consciousness and intelligence, are the fundamental tools in the idea-based toolbox. The rest are what one would naturally expect to create with these tools.
The formation of ideas through sensory perception: As we already know, science has found the sensor of our sense organs is in principle like the sensor in all types of physical measuring instruments. This means the sense organs’ physical construction guarantees it can register only atoms, the limited ability to realize Intended Creation, but nothing of Intended Creation itself. Moreover, the signals from our sensory organs to the brain are transported exclusively in the form of one type of electrical impulse. All the signals our brains receive about everything in the world are identical and in every sense of the word, meaningless. Sooner or later these signals must be assigned meaning. With the new hypothesis, we can explain how. Out there, we have the world. Here in our consciousness, we have an image of it (the Master Idea with Intended Creation and its definition of the ability to realize Intended Creation). Where our senses show us contours and formations without meaning, we add meaning derived from what we have understood of the image itself. Not like a spontaneous interpretation, but as a process of recognition. The ideas we recognize don’t come from the brain locally, but are brought in from THE CORE through direct contact. From THE CORE, communication always flows out in the format of the sublime MASTER IDEA. We take in only as much as our level of understanding allows.
Spin-off ideas and their contents: The relationship between master idea and spin-off ideas is law-abiding. All ideas and feelings and all reasoning and logic we develop, whether related to religion, science, social context or our personal lives, are true reflections of the master idea we practice.
Take note: this law is pivotal. Together with the newly discovered dimensions of joy, this law is extremely important for our lives, our happiness, and prosperity. The pages entitled Rebels’ University cover the regularity of this law and nothing else. They discuss its reach and consequences. They also discuss the remediation process that must naturally follow after spin-off ideas that originated from the old material master idea have turned the key ideas in civilization upside down.
Verification V
Extraordinary idea-based phenomena
Various attempts to explain extraordinary idea-based phenomena with material logic have one thing in common; they must be explained away. There is no logic, no tools in the material toolbox that can explain this type of phenomenon. Everything from ESP to near-death experiences to experiences of extreme Joy must be regarded as being problems with sense organs, not existing, or irrelevant. With idea-based logic, it’s a lot easier.
ESP – communication independent of time and space: The basis for reality is THE CORE OF REALITY. When reality is “one minded”, it doesn’t matter if individuals are separated in time or space.
Inherent Support and synchronicity: Support is the built-in supply of everything we need, including joy. Synchronicity is the coordination of events necessary for this support to come into play. Together they make up what we can call Inherent Support, reality’s inherent nurturing of all creatures. When we practice a detrimental master idea, Inherent Support diminishes. When we practice a better master idea, nature provides us with our needs, solutions fall into place and come to us in unexpected ways.
Miracles: It’s reasonable to regard miracles as being the results of shorter or longer periods of practicing a level of understanding as high as or higher than the understanding that unleashed the limited Effect (our universe with time and space) and the laws that apply there. Miracles become glimpses of a world where matter and material laws are no longer limitations, but pliable effects dictated by a creation that pours out support and joy consistent with the applied level of understanding.
Death, near-death experiences: The individual core of consciousness and intelligence is anchored in the CONSCIOUSNESS and INTELLIGENCE in the eternal CORE OF REALITY. We live forever, there’s nothing to be done about it. To die is to live on.
Different levels of joy: The starting point for explaining the different levels of joy, from experiments and other situations, is that we live in a joy-maximizing reality. The sublime REALITY with sublime INHERENT SUPPORT and ONENESS where everything is available all the time. But the level of understanding we practice determines how much of it we experience. The lower the level of understanding, the corresponding lower the level of joy experienced. If the understanding of both Intended Creation and of idea-based logic have been lost, the level of happiness will be very low because consequentially, we will have lost nearly all sublime INHERENT SUPPORT and just about all experience of connectedness, of ONENESS. In addition, other changes take place within our individual version of the shared universe. Among others, its inherent support is dramatically reduced. But. The opposite also holds true when understanding increases. (As confirmed by Experiments 1 and 2.)
Verification through experiments
New paradigms lead to new types of experiments. The experiments already referred to are temporary manipulations of the master idea. Both result in brief glimpses of the great magnitudes of joy and confirm key points in the new hypothesis. Among them are the sublimely joyful Intended Creation and the existence of the elementary ideas within the atom. The results from the experiments plus the instructions to be able to perform them yourself are posted under Experiments with Joy.
The first draft of a new reductionistic governing theory is not only crazy. It appears to be crazy enough. It looks like we have The First Unified Theory.
The verification - Conclusion
That’s the whole crazy theory. And as we’ve just seen some examples of, we can now revisit the questions that Hawking says science has given up answering. We can answer why separate bodies are attracted to each other, why there are particles in the atom, why there are forces between these particles, why all energy comes out in quanitified packets called“quants”. We can also understand what forces are and what particles are. And, with the same understanding that solves these puzzles from categories I and II, we can also solve the classic “spirit/matter paradox”. Matter in the sense of thing does not exist. Everything that’s physical is the realization of stable ideas created by spirit. The phenomena in categories complex design (III), ordinary idea-based phenomena (IV) and extraordinary phenomena (V) are easily explained. Thus, we have the first hypothesis that resolves all types of phenomena from one and the same principle.
Science’s standard for verification is simple enough: The more of reality that can be explained with the logic characteristic of the hypothesis, the more certain the hypothesis.
If it’s science we want, we have no choice but to accept the results of scientific verification. The crazy logic has earned the right to become the new common sense. We have a new and more sound governing theory that explains how to understand reality.
